Phantom Power at Silkeborg

Phantom Power [Lissa Schneckenburger (www.lissafiddle.com), fiddle, and Bruce Rosen, piano] performed at the Silkeborg, Denmark, square and contra dance weekend sponsored by the Square Dance Partners, in May, 2008. The American caller for the weekend was Sue Rosen.

In this clip, Sue calls her dance "40 Mohr Years", to the tune Julia Delaney. The waltz at the end of the clip is an excerpt from Bruce's composition, A Penny For Your Thoughts.   In this clip, Else Bach Nielsen, one of Denmark's favorite callers, calls "A Needed Square" (by Tom Hinds) to the Marcel Messervier tune Hommage a la Belle Gaspesie.
